Mary S. Haines (nee Scudder), 91, of Medford died Aug. 17, 2010. Born in West Chester, Pa., she has resided in Medford since 1946 and wintered in Lake Wales, Fla.
She was a 1940 graduate of West Chester State College and an elementary teacher for Medford Township Public Schools from 1962 to 1977. She was a member of the NJEA/NEA and Medford Quaker Meeting.
She was wife of the late Reece E. Haines and mother of the late Arthur D. Haines. She is survived by sons Richard R. Haines of Tabernacle and Alan W. Haines of Wells, Maine; daughters Nancy H. Lineker of Fairfax, Va. and Linda S. Haines of Northfield, N.H. and four grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Sept. 28 at Medford Friends Meeting, 14 Union Street, Medford. Interment will be private.
